Shortcuts Back in Black

After customer requests, Shortcuts are providing sexy-looking software with incredible functionality. They're promising you’ll love the look, feel and fun of the new Shortcuts Black world.

The new design includes features such as curved buttons with funky bevels; cool combinations of colours and smooth gradients. There are even highlighting shimmers in banners; all to enhance your salon and really impress your clients. Crisp new high resolution icons can be perfectly meshed with themed background colours so that it is as individual as you are.

Similar to flicking a list with your finger on an iPhone, Shortcuts Black will supports “kinetic” scrolling. Flick or drag the employee heads or time list to quickly scroll through the appointment book. Flick the calendar, clients list – or any other list.

The new look appointment book has a gradient blue splashed across the screen, semi-transparent appointments, gorgeous curves to the appointment edges and sleek colours. There is no colour confusion for the user.

Complementing the new “soft” feel of Shortcuts Black is the introduction of the transition-fading of popup windows. Any window that pops onto the screen fades in and out, smoothly but rapidly. What’s more, important messages cause the rest of the screen to darken so you won’t miss a beat.

For businesses with employees that are suited for specific length appointments, Shortcuts Black now offers an option to overlay Appointment Masking – markers on the appointment book that indicate the optimal times to start an appointment for each employee. The markers coincide with each day’s operating times, as well as each employee’s roster.
