EVEOLUTION, the new autumn/winter collection from L’Oréal Professionnel, showcases the best of nature and technology combined.

Renowned Dutch stylist Ward Stegerhoek has created a new collection of three unique styles reflecting the merging of architecture and art with technology that protects and respects nature.

Eveolution is a daydream about our near future. On international runways and in the globe’s leading fashion magazines the hair styles reflect the themes of deconstruction, three-dimensionality and graphic effects.

Ward Stegerhoek, inspired by these trends, interprets them across three exciting and unique looks this season using the latest ammonia-free INOA shades.

HEMERA 

HEMERA depicts warm and cool blondes that radiate singularity and strangeness. The hair cut as a diamond reveals three light shades. HEMERA is a dynamic, strong haircut where prisms of colour slice through the top interior of the style creating a 3-D glowing effect on the surrounding hair.

VENUS

The VENUS style reveals wavy long hair in a graduation of copper-auburn browns evoking the coral colours of the sea. The rounded two-coloured fringe gives a note of originality to the hairstyle. The technique weaves a mix of cool and warm reds, blending them harmoniously throughout the hair.

ASTREE 

ASTREE is a new take on the bob cut, fastened tight by hair pulled back at the sides. Two black panels underline the contrast of textures and give energy to the brown hair colour. The audacious colour placement gives a forward-thinking touch and reinforces the theme of the collection. The technique consists of two dark triangles, one placed on each side of the head to create a 3-D effect on the hair.

All styles are created with L’Oréal Professionnel’s INOA colour, which stands for Innovation, No Ammonia.

EVEOLUTION’s three new colour techniques can be tailored to any client no matter what their desired hair colour is or their hair length or style, using colour.

About Ward Stegerhoek

Ward was born in Vinkeveen Stegerhoek near Amsterdam in 1965. He started hairdressing as a teenager and moved to London where he worked at Vidal Sassoon in 1982 before working in Paris for nine years. He went to New York in 1992 and worked with Steven Meisel and Steven Klein. He is a regular on L'Oréal campaigns and has worked with the most prestigious photographers. Ward’s styles have appeared in many leading international magazines and numerous advertising campaigns and he has global catwalk experience.
